The basic training courses

When you are frequently responsible for managing a project, we have two basic training courses for you. One that focuses on the hard aspects (planning, budgeting and controlling, etc.), and one focussed on training the softer aspects (managing, teamwork, communication, etc.). It is possible to organise them separately, or in combination.

Training: TECHNIQUE (Three days)

During this training, we teach the participants how they can lay the foundation for a successful project. They practice with case histories, which they bring with them to the training. From among the participants, we choose three projects, and on these we practice the various techniques as a team.

The following subjects are addressed:

Day 1

Day 2

Day 3

The project and the environment

The project management

By using actual participant examples, the participants benefit from the insights gained during the training, which they then will be able to apply on their own project.

Training: Behaviour (Three separate days)

During this course, the participants practise thoroughly with the most important project management behavioural skills. Based on their strong points, they learn how to use these in different situations in which a project manager has to display leadership.

During this training, there is a lot of room to practise different styles of communication, leadership and suchlike. Also during this training we work with situations brought along by the participants. By placing the emphasis on their strong points, the participants develop the confidence to experiment with different behaviour in everyday practice.

Training: Technique & Behaviour (3×2 days)

During this combined training, the basic technique and behaviour courses already described are linked together.

Follow-up steps

A logical follow-up to this training would be the courses project creation and the diamond model.
